He began his journey with bboying at the age of 12 in his motherland Martynica. At present he lives in Portuguese Porto where he represents Momentum Crew. Most of his greatest international achievements were gained together with his crew. One of these accomplishments is the win of IBE 2011 3vs3. As a solo he has won semi final of Red Bull BC One in Barcelona (2011), what gave him an access to finals of this prestigious event in Moscow.

Finals of Skill Masters 5 are held for 24th and 25th of March in Dublin.

Dark Marc is a part of Ghost Crew and has been Breaking since 1997. He lives deep in the Norwegian forest and reaching him is big challenge. He is very close with the nature what is widely visible in his style and most of his practices take place in natural surroundings. Dark Marc has travelled a lot and has participated in events like: Bullshit BC One, Rock Steady Anniversary, Circle Kingz, Bboy Masters Pro Am, R-16 and many more.

It basically sprung to life after Lionel Richies ‘all night long’ video and also after the movie Breakdance…both made by our own member Shabba Doo.Then Beat Sreet came out and the scene grew.We would meet at Stephens Green and also the Central Bank at weekends and dance.It all happened in the early 1980s..some took up breakin,some took up mixing and rappin and some took up graffiti….and some of us (probably most of us) took up all the above.At first it was a bit strange dancing on the streets,but when you saw the looks on peoples faces,you just wanted to do it more.

well for me it started out doin the robotics in 81, we where unaware of breakin till i seen breakmachine in 82 on top of the pops and said , yes thats for me. nobody else was doin it. silly moves back then starting off, first competitions where in the teachers club on parnell square 82 83. i was solo,my first crew was Electric Breakers,christy was on radio then so we knew there was a scene in the city, tara club was the spot on a sunday, 2nd crew was ” The System”, into the mid 80s, new crew ” the ultimate”, by then well established.great days i must say! last competition i done was 88,organiser moved to boston,people just moved on,the scene died. we toured the night clubs after that with “connect four”.dance team, at least we where getting paid then.we all became djs after that ha ha, the breakin scence only came back around 94 with all new beginners, i became a judge for “spectrum international artists” who’s comps are still goin now. last time i done it was 2001.

Yea we (Dizzzy Footwork) were one of the first crews about in dublin.We were one of the first to wear the same outfits also,which made us stand out as a crew.Therea are so many names and it was so long ago Im afraid I have forgotten most of them,but can still remember all of them dancing all those years ago.Im sure the lads on here will tell you their own stories.We dident have many battles in Dublin,but when we were on tour around the country,we had lots and won all them.Hio and Che Che were members of the orignal Dizzy Footwork,but went their own way after a while.We are all still very good mates,as are all the breakers,there was never any hate between us all,just fun and dance.

the central bank and Stephens Green were our meeting place..we would all hook up and show our new moves.Sometimes we would stay around these places all day,but usually crews would go off to different spots and busk for cash,then meet up again later.I started off with doing the robot,then got into poppin then breakin.I was an all rounder,I could do most tricks and had a few of my own too,I had my own style of swipe and footwork (Thats where the name Dizzy Footwork came from).Power moves were not out back then,so we just did old school breakin,which is still my favourite,Im amazed at power moves,but breakin is breakin.My nickname was ‘Wally’ my breakin name was ‘Wildstyle’ and my graffiti name is ‘Style’.I realy miss the old days,meeting all the lads in town,showing new moves,making new mates and we all stuck together like glue…as this site shows now,over 25 years later and we all still mates.

Born on the suburbs of Barcelona bgirl has taken part in many pointing events like: Battle of the Year, Eurobattle, R16, Mighty4 and Evolution. As she admits herself she loves to travel what is easy to believe in because many a time was she invited to judge variety of competitions or to run workshops during events all over the world. By her nice and likable presence she easily gains friends from all break dancing society.

Timber does not need to be introduced. This widely known bboy and dj from Belfast, lives in Barcelona at present and is famous for his salsa skills. He represents Bad Taste Crew and Mighty Zulu Kingz. As he admits himself, he is addicted to vinyls and beautiful women! He became permanent Dj at the successive editions of Skill Masters.

Puzzles will be teaching different grooves, flowing in and out of different movements, levels, angles and speed changes within the foundation of bboying. He will also go into a bit of history and where different steps and moves comes from.

Over the last few years, Supernaturalz have emerged as one of Canada’s top b-boy crews. In 2008, they won the B-boy Unit Canada regional eliminations, earning the right to call themselves “Team Canada” at the competition’s world finals later that year. Since then, the crew has represented their city and country all over the world. They’ve won events like Floor Wars 5 in Denmark and Master the Art 8 in the States, while also competing in Korea and defending their claim of Canadian supremacy coast-to-coast in their homeland.

This impressive run has owed at least a little something to a b-boy from Pickering, Ontario known as Puzzles. The Supernaturalz vet and Red Bull BC One rookie contributes an array of dancing abilities to his crew. His impeccable footwork stands out, but so does the sense of musicality that he shows whether he’s toprocking or rolling through a blow up. The end result is a tendency to stun crowds, as anyone who saw his 2009 battle against Miracles can tell you.

We start with the news about one of the most interesting bboy’s event in Europe! And what we talk about is of course Skill Marters. This year we celebrate 5th anniversary of the Irish event. Contest organizers announced first judge for this year edition of Skill Masters. And this is Bboy Bartazz from Kingz of Warsaw!

Bboy Bartazz is one of the best Bboys in Poland. He has been awarded with the special prise “Over The Top Special Award” for entirety of his work and contribution into development of polish bboying. Fredrick ”Freeze” Herranen Born and raised in Sweden. Started B-boying 1983. Three decades later Freeze is still active on the world b-boy scene as a innovative dancer, as a teacher and a judge. During his time as a dancer he has done most things u can do as a professional b-boy. His big passion in the dance is to share what he knows as a teacher. Something he does on a world wide scale.

Freeze is a founding member of Ghost Crew.
